Abstract
This article examines nationalism and digitization in Indonesian language learning. Nationalism referred to in this research is related to forms of nationalism, namely 1) National autonomy, 2) Unity 3) Similarity 4) National identity. Furthermore, this nationalism will be viewed from the process of digitizing Indonesian language learning, namely by choosing film as a medium of learning. The selected film is Film Canned Letter. The process of digitizing Indonesian Language Learning can be seen from several schools in the city of Banda Aceh. The problem in this study is formulated, namely how the Film Surat Kaleng can increase nationalism in high school students in Banda Aceh City. This study uses a qualitative method. The data source of this research is SMA in Banda Aceh City which uses film as a medium of learning in schools. The data in this study are the doctrines of nationalism in the digitalization learning process of Indonesian Language learning. The results of this study indicate that in the process of digitizing Indonesian language learning, films are the main choice for conveying the values of nationalism to students in schools. The basic things related to the digitization process in learning Indonesian by using the Canned Letter Film by Fauzan Santa are as follows. 1) Films are the right choice in digitizing learning, 2) films can be accessed easily, especially with the circulation of the film on YouTube, 3) Learning to use digital technology is a 'setting' that can stimulate all students' senses, so that it can affect motivation student learning as well as inculcating the concept of nationalism.
