Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the teachers' strategy in increasing students' self efficacy in ELT through Asian Parliamentary Debate System Model. This research was conducted through qualitative approach with multiple-case study with 5 participants from various schools that has been recognized as the successful school in implementing the model. The data collection techniques was used in this research is interview with semi-structured interview and the data analysis techniques used in this research were started from data condensation, data display and data conclusion. These processs were aimed to gain the answer to the research questions mentioned above. And the results shows that all the participants have modified the steps in the theori of Asian Parliamentary Debate System in order to increase the studetns' self efficacy in ELT using Asian Parliamentary Debate System Model
