PROCEEDINGS OF THE FIRST UNDERGRADUATE CONFERENCE ON ELT, LINGUISTICS, AND LITERATURE 2013

Abstract

The Undergraduate Conference (UC) on English Language Teaching (ELT), Linguistics and Literature, was held for the first time this year, 2013, by the Sanata Dharma University English Language Education Study Programme — Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (PBI) Universitas Sanata Dharma (USD). It is expected that every student involved in this conference whether as a committee member, participant or paper presenter can contribute positively to this event. As planned, the UC USD PBI would be organized annually starting 2013. For student presenters, the UC is an invaluable opportunity to share (mini) research findings and enrich knowledge of linguistics, literature and English language teaching. The organizing committee, who are mostly PBI-ers of batch 2009, have been working hard in order to make this conference a great success, including in selecting 24 paper abstracts to be presented on the conference D-day, namely Saturday, 6 July 2013.
