PENGARUH MEDIA VIDEO DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 24 BANDA ACEH
Abstract
Menulis merupakan suatu keterampilan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari proses belajar mengajar yang berlangsung di sekolah. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam silabus mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dicantumkan empat keterampilan berbahasa yang harus dikuasai oleh anak didik, yaitu keterampilan menyimak, membaca, berbicara, dan menulis. Pendekatan penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dalam menggunakan media video. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, tes menulis puisi, dan dukumentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh media video terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh. Dalam menilai keterampilan menulis puisi ada beberapa aspek yaitu : diksi, imajinasi, kata konkret, gaya bahasa, rima, tipografi, amanat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai persentase siswa kelas pretest sebesar 50,31% artinya keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V “Cukup Kreatif”. Sedangkan pada kelas posttest nilai presentase siswa yang diperoleh sebesar 89,96% maka dapat dipahami keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V “Sangat Kreatif”. Dari hasil uji hiptesis hipotesis diperoleh skor rata – rata sebesar 17,70 pada awal observasi dan setelah menggunakan media video diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 31,58. Adapun nilai thitung > ttabel dimana 56,55 > 1,69 dapat dinyatakan Ha > H0 sehingga terdapat pengaruh media video dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media video bisa mempengaruhi keterampilan menulis bagi siswa sehingga dengan demikian media video bisa menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran bagi guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa. Writing is a skill that cannot be separated from the teaching and learning process that takes place at school. This is because the syllabus for Indonesian subjects includes four language skills that must be mastered by students, namely listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. This research approach was carried out quantitatively with the type of experimental research using video media. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh. Data was collected by observation, poetry writing test, and documentation. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of video media on the poetry writing skills of fifth graders at SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh. In assessing short story writing skills, there are several aspects, namely: diction, imagination, concrete words, language style, rhyme, typography, and mandate. Based on the results of the initial observations, the percentage value of students was 50.31%, meaning that the poetry writing skills of fifth grade students were "Creative Enough". While the results of learning using video media are carried out the percentage value of students is 89.96%, meaning that the poetry writing skills of fifth grade students are "Very Creative". It can be seen that the use of video media can increase the poetry writing skills of class V SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh. Meanwhile, based on the results of hypothesis testing that the average score at the beginning of the observation was 17.70 and using video media was 31.58 with a total of 32 students. From the results of the hypothesis test, the value of Ha was 56.55 and Ho was 1.69, with a decision of 56.55 > 1.69, meaning that there was an influence of video media on poetry writing skills in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh.
